Original Art by Artist Gita Dickenson

An insight into an artists work is usually always the requirement when we seek out original art. Unique form and creativity in art and other mediums always leads me to find out exactly what spurs an artist on, and how they create their pieces from start to finish. Knowing this always provides me with a fascinating story and background on original art and just how it begins in the minds of the creator.

I truly adore an original oil painting by Gita. She painted this in a modern contemporary style with the butterfly almost fluttering off the canvas. It’s bright, sophisticated and, of course, a piece of original art which is a conversation piece - butterfly can be viewed as a chic one-piece or as a part of a wall-hung collection.

My personal favourites - yellows with green and blue hues, plus a tiny hint of red and fuschia, just give me that hint of ‘summer in the garden’ which holds true memories.

Other paintings in Gita’s butterfly collection are, of course, equally as beautiful and I have found the collection really enhances the fact that you can place on or many, on one wall or two, original oil paintings that are completely different in style and in colour but which compliment each other and their settings wonderfully.

I have bare walls and original artists give me a huge reason to fill those walls with the colour and original art they beg for!
